Easy, comfy, very pretty! May 13, 2008 Kira's Mom (Okolona, MS) 31 out of 32 found this review helpful
Was not hard to assemble with an extra pair of hands. I love this bike! So easy, like the ones when i was a kid. I use this bike with a child carrier, and it is perfect. Nice wide cushy seat for the bum, allows you to sit up straight and leisurely ride, not hunkered over the handlebars. If you just want to cruise, this is the bike! Wide tires - even tho it's from China now, it still seems a quality, heavy-duty bike.
Love my new bike! April 27, 2010 Anonymouse (Here and there) 19 out of 19 found this review helpful
I had read reviews of other Schwinn bikes and was apprehensive as there were many complaints of poor packaging, and that the bikes were difficult to put together.
In my case, the bike was delivered in under one week, (FREE, thank you AMAZON) The packaging was more than sufficient to protect the contents. The bike required some assembly. The assembly was a little tricky because there were no instructions, but I managed to have it up and running in about a half an hour.
I am not an intense "cyclist" by any means, and I find this bike to be comfortable and cute as hell. As a bonus, I added the basket to thoroughly embarrass my teenage sons.
Great bike September 12, 2009 copadoc (NY, NY United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Got this bike for my daughter who is 13. She absolutely loves it!!! Very smooth ride, comfortable and every time we go out she gets tons of compliments for the look. Despite not having any gears she is able to go uphills with ease. Great value.
Schwinn Wins Again April 28, 2010 G. Moorhead (So Cal) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Took a while to travel across the country (over 2 weeks), so when it got here, assembly began immediately because my daughter's birthday had passed. Being the diligent father I am, I went right to the manual for assistance, but after a minute or two realized the manual was generic for all Schwinns; or at least it was far too complicated for this bike, so I chucked it out the door.
Other than opening the box with massive staples, and aligning the front fender, it was as easy as a ten piece puzzle to put together. If anyone struggles with this cruiser, I'd guess they need help with other mundane tasks like unlocking the front door of their house. Just pay attention to the pedals; there is a left and a right for a reason. 30 minutes to complete, and my daughter loves it.
Buy it from Target if you can't put it together yourself May 10, 2010 Keith Walsh (Virginia, USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The round paper in the spokes claims this bike comes with "Free Assembly." But the FedEx guy who dropped it off at my house wasn't about to help me, so I guess that only applies if you buy the bike at Target or Toys R Us. But putting it together is fairly simple once you manage to get all the packaging undone.
The bicycle itself looks like a dream. My wife looked at all the stores for a pink cruiser style bike but couldn't find one. This, coming from Amazon, proved to be perfect.
